Module 06 · Watchlists

Keep an eye on the
stocks that matter

Watchlists let you group the companies you care about and follow them in one place, with the same rich columns as the screener and a running average change on every list. This guide covers all of it.

How it fits together

Group once, follow forever

A watchlist is just a named group of companies. You build the groups that match how you think about the market, then check them whenever you want a quick read.

Your lists are saved to your account. Sign in once and your watchlists sync across every device, so a list you build on your laptop is there on your phone. You are prompted to sign in only when you first save.

Step 01 · Create a list

Start with a name

Everything begins with a watchlist. Give it a name that means something to you, then start filling it with companies. You can run as many lists side by side as you like.

Try it: name a list and hit Create, or tap a suggestion. Delete any list with the trash icon.

Name it anything

Type a name and hit Create. A watchlist is just a label over a group of companies, so call it whatever helps you: “Long term”, “Earnings this week”, “Banks”.

As many as you need

Keep separate lists for separate ideas. There is no limit, and each one tracks its own companies and its own average change independently.

Delete when done

Finished with a list? Delete it in a click. A confirmation step makes sure you never wipe one by accident.

Step 02 · Add companies

Three ways to fill a list

Add companies however you happen to find them. Whether you are searching a name, reading a profile, or screening the whole market, a watchlist is one click away.

01

Search inside a list

Open a watchlist, hit “Add company”, and search by symbol or name. Results appear as you type; click one to drop it straight in.

02

From a company profile

Browsing a company you like? Use its add-to-watchlist button to save it without leaving the page. With no list yet, a default one is created for you.

03

A whole screener result

Run a screen, then send every matching company to a watchlist at once, into a new list named after your query or an existing one you pick.

No duplicates, no fuss. Adding a company already on a list simply leaves it there, so bulk-adding a screen over an existing list only tops it up with the new names. Remove any company later with the small remove button on its row.

Step 03 · The overview

All your lists, one glance

The watchlists overview is your home base. Instead of opening lists one by one, you read them all as a wall of cards and spot the movers instantly.

Try it: click a card to open that watchlist, then head back with “All watchlists”.

Every list as a card

The overview lays out all your watchlists as cards. Each shows its name, how many companies it holds and a preview of the first few.

Average daily change

Each card carries the average day-change across its companies, colour-coded green or red, so you can feel a list's mood in a glance.

A quick preview

The first companies show inline with their day change, and a “+N more” hint tells you how many others are inside before you even open it.

Step 04 · The detail table

A full table, built your way

Open any watchlist and it becomes a rich, sortable table, the same engine as the screener, showing only the companies you have saved and only the columns you have chosen.

Choose your columns

Pick exactly which metrics show, from price and change to valuation and technicals. Your choice is remembered per list, so each watchlist can show what matters for it.

Sort any column

Click a heading to rank the list by it: biggest gainers, cheapest by P/E, largest by market cap. It is the same powerful table the screener uses.

Jump to a profile

Every symbol links to its full company page, so a name that catches your eye is one click from the deep dive.

Remove in place

A remove button on each row drops a company from the list instantly, without leaving the table.

Put it together

Watch the market like an analyst

A few habits that turn watchlists from a pile of tickers into a real monitoring routine.

Keep lists focused: one per theme or sector reads far better than a single giant list of everything.

Save a promising screen straight to a watchlist, then watch it over days before deciding to act.

Tune each list's columns to its purpose: valuation columns for value ideas, technicals for trading ideas.

Glance at the average change on the overview to see which of your themes is leading the market today.

That's the Watchlists module.
