The rules of the road

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and PakStockLab (“PakStockLab”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and govern your use of our website, applications and services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

PakStockLab provides tools for researching companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), including market dashboards, company profiles and financials, a stock screener, comparison tools, calculators, watchlists, price alerts and a portfolio tracker.

We continually improve the Service and may add, change or remove features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.

All content, including data, ratios, screens, charts, rankings, templates, calculators and AI-generated summaries, is provided for general information and education only. It does not consider your financial situation, objectives or risk tolerance.

Investing in equities involves risk, including the possible loss of capital. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions, and you should consult a qualified, licensed financial adviser before acting.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, so tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

Prices, financial statements, corporate actions and other market information come from PSX disclosures and third-party sources. While we work hard to keep it accurate:

• Data may be delayed and is not guaranteed to be real-time.
• Data may contain errors, omissions or inconsistencies, including in calculated ratios and indicators.
• Alerts depend on data feeds and delivery systems, and may be delayed or missed.

Always verify important information with official sources such as the PSX and your broker before making a decision. If you spot an error, please report it.

You retain ownership of the data you add to PakStockLab, including transactions, holdings, watchlists, notes and imported documents (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content. Portfolio values, profit & loss, tax and deduction figures are estimates based on what you enter or import. Your broker's and CDC's statements remain the official record.

Some features, such as Sign in with Google and broker email sync with Gmail or Outlook, depend on third-party services. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services.

By connecting a mailbox, you confirm you are authorised to do so and allow us to access it read-only, for the sole purpose of importing your broker trade confirmations. You can disconnect at any time.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk download or systematically extract data from the Service without written permission.
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense or publicly display our data or content as part of another product.
• Probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities, or bypass security, rate limits or access controls.
• Interfere with or overload the Service, or introduce malware or harmful code.
• Use the Service for market manipulation, fraud or any unlawful purpose.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Reverse-engineer or copy the Service, except where the law expressly permits it.

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to support@finvision.pk.

The Service, including its software, design, logos, the PakStockLab name, text, graphics and compiled datasets, is owned by PakStockLab or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own, non-commercial investment research under these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

The Service is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans or premium features in the future. If we do, we will clearly show the price and terms before you are charged, and we will never move you onto a paid plan without your explicit consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PakStockLab and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, lost opportunities or loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This applies even if we were advised such damages were possible.

In particular

We are not responsible for investment decisions you make based on information in the Service, or for losses caused by delayed, inaccurate or incomplete data or alerts.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PakStockLab and its team from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity, will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Before starting any formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
